They have a flap that you open and then put the powder in. It took too long and the kids got impatient. **Q: How many grams of powder will each color ball hold?** A: It hold 80-100grams of color. **Q: How many throws before having to refill?** A: I don't know how many throws but they lasted a long time. The powder is in like a stocking so it doesn't explode like a water balloon hope this helps. Good luck. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ LOVE LOVE LOVE these!!! *by on Reviewed in the United States October 12, 2025* Love, love, love these. I bought for an 8 year old birthday party and adults and kids had a blast. A total of 18 people played and we still had some left over. I actually bought another box of 10 for a family reunion with just 6 kids. It was so much fun. The colors are great and there were so many different shades of colors!!!! It seems expensive but it was so so so much fun!!!! They are cool on a white t-shirt but show up great on all black as well. The kids got them in their hair, face, etc. and it washed of no problems. The white shirts washed out but there was a VERY light hue of pink. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best party idea *by on Reviewed in the United States May 22, 2026* We had so much fun, totally loved it! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun, Bright, and Easy to Use *by on Reviewed in the United States June 22, 2025* This color is a lot of fun. I bought it to use at a few big activities this summer so I had my kids try it out on the tramp so I could get hang of it. Very easy to use. Brushes off pretty easy. Definitely some clean up involved though. The colors are bright and there is a wide variety. Plus, they are well packaged and didn't break while shipping. Great way to vamp up your activity. ## Frequently Bought Together - Chameleon Colors Original Color Powder Balls - 10 Vibrant Colors - Prefilled & Refillable - Non-Toxic - Great for Color War, Birthday Party, Bachelor Party Games & Fun Run - for 5-10 People - Chameleon Colors 100g Color Powder Packs - 25 Pack - 10 Vibrant Colors in Clear Bags - Non-Toxic & Gluten-Free - Great for Holi, Color Wars, Fun Run, Gender Reveal & Summer Camp - PARTY GOAT Bulk Instant Slime Powder.
