I works! Well, for me anyway.
First, I like that it works. I used to have trouble keeping mice out of my old Karmann Ghia when I stored it for the winter, and in the spring when I brought it out of the barn it had a nasty skanky horrid odor from nests under the back seat or in the bonnet. This stuff has quite a pleasant smell,...at least at a distance of two or three feet. Bring it right up to you nose and it's a bit overpowering. The important thing is that when I take the old Ghia out in the spring,...no nasty mouse smell and instead a vaguely pleasant smell of balsam.

This stuff is STRONG when opened, lasts 3 mos (per maker)
I live in the county & mice are an ever present problem. I have an old (1990) car I park in a detached garage. It was pretty musty when I bought it and I addressed both issues with Freshcab - One pack tucked into the engine bay and one under the seat. My brother in law is a farmer and he told me about it years ago.

We put these in our RV when we aren’t using it . They are quite fragrant but not in an offensive way . The price was average.

Smells Great! No Mice!
I think that if we'd never seen evidence of mice that I'd still want to place these things around the house because they smell so great! The argument that convinced me was that rodent poisons attract the animals first and, although they're supposed to go outside to die, the don't. We then had the smell of decaying mouse wafting through the air... no bueno! So far we've seen and smelled no trace of mice and we love the smell of the repellent. A win-win!

worth the money
I dont usually write reviews unless a product stands out.We used traps for months and had mouse poop everywhere but no luck. Then, tried a fainter scented type of packets, but they were too "pretty" in frilly little bags with light peppermint scent. Finally bought these and wow. No mice!! House smells like a shot of what ever it is that the housekeeper uses and then it smells clean after she leaves. Strong smell, but doesnt bother us, just the mice.

These do not work!!!
I put multiple packages of these in the engine compartment of the car about six weeks ago. The mice chewed right through the bags. They do NOT deter mice at all. It seems more likely that they attract the mice. See the two photos including one where they chewed through two bags of the "rodent repellent" and chewed through wires right next to one of them. These are TOTALLY worthless and NOT inexpensive. Save your money! I will go back to mothballs.
