Review: Big Ass Juicer - Like so many Italian things, this juicer looks great, but doesnt feel like it is built very well. Everything shakes, nothing feels solid or well-made. But, so far (two days use) it squeezes the hell out of limes and that is its job. So I guess it's okay. I just wonder for how long.
Review: absolute piece of garbage - absolute piece of garbage. the juicer came with loose screws, so ill fitted that they were jammed in one place. One of the screws did come off eventually, but when i tried to put it back again to align it, it would only twist in at an incline. just one of the worst made juicers out there. No wonder there are so many returned/used items for sale on this juicer. Don't know ow what they're charging a $100+ for. avoid wasting your time. also i tried contacting the seller, asking them to send me good screws, and did not get a single reply.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Your product broke the first day I used it, I completely smashed my finger and injured myself, how long before someone reaches out?**
A: Please let us know how we can get ahold of you to make this right.

**Q: My husband put part of my juicer in the dish washer. Is there any way to get the shine back?**
A: Never put aluminum in a dishwasher, the detergent reacts with it. Probably the only way to get shine back is really fine sandpaper or maybe one of those green fiber scrubbing pads, maybe a SOS pad, you basically need to polish off the tarnished layer.

**Q: Do you have any expected solution for the metal flakes on juice issue?**
A: Hi there! We had one shipment two years ago that didn't have some of the (food safe) polishing compound washed off all the way, which resulted in what looked like metal flakes in the juice. I can assure you it was NOT metal flakes, and we have completely resolved the cleaning issue with more rigorous QA checks before shipping. You can see that we haven't had a complaint about that in years, and don't plan to ever again!

**Q: Is this the juicer by jules vertrees and jacque lewis?**
A: Jules and Jacquie are the founders of Verve Culture, and they work with Mexican aluminum artisans to make this juicer!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better than the alternatives
*by R***O on January 22, 2025*

Bittersweet. Looks great on the counter and it works. But it’s definitely janky. Joints are loose and it’s impossible to tighten. Not typical hardware. Also, the perch that you put the fruit on is so frustrating to get lined up. Also, requires some muscle. My wife is in great shape - works out 5 days a week… she make me do it because she can’t pull the lever down enough to get all the juice out of an orange
