They also make other nut milks (walnut, almost, pistachio) as well as oat milk. This is to remove the risk of Salmonella and to Reduce the risk of bacteria, yeasts, and mold. Because of this the company have chosen to get almonds that are PPO Pasteurized, an approved pasteurization method used by the FDA. Almonds are PPO treated before arriving to the company.
