My 2 cents: I obviously didn't see/feel the Velcro closure covers but I believe that magnets will be a bit easier to use and should last longer. We'll see. Also, I originally was going to use their multicolor option--they would have allowed me to pick different colors for my 7-club set. But decided to go with just black and red.
