**Q: compatability with ford c max and mondeo 2007 vintage**
A: Yes, the slot fits Ford cars from the last couple of decades.
The spot stops the pad slipping from the sill, and spreads the contact area.
More importantly, does it fit your jack? It was perfect for mine, but check the dimensions on yours.

**Q: is it compatab with volvo v70 m/3 2008**
A: The 'Jack Pad' is just a solid piece of hard rubber. As stated, it has an overall body diameter of 65mm with 8mm deep by 15mm wide slot on the top. The body has a height of 25mm with a 38mm diameter by 8mm high ‘stub’ on the bottom. It is not made for any specific vehicle. It is meant for placing on a trolley jack and locating the specified sill jacking area of the vehicle. It is just a 'spacer' to protect the bodywork, so you don't have metal to metal. I think the photo of the item placed directly on the jack is misleading. I place mine in the ‘cup’ of the jack.

Most modern cars have jacking points on the sills and are fitted with undertray. This handy jack pad protects the sills from being damaged by the jack and fitted my jack perfectly. Also, it doesn't get too damaged when doing its job and I've now used it about half a dozen times and it doesn't show much sign of wear.

These do the job and support pretty well. My only issue with them is that they don't have any grooves cut out in the bottom to fit on the grooves on the jack stand even though in the image, it looks like it should be a near perfect fit. They do the job though
