This heating pad has far exceeded my expectations. I've been buying infra-red heating pads since they first came out, and they work. However, they've always been stiff like boards and uncomfortable to use for very long. This one is ingenious with its weighted and soft structure. I sleep with mine every night, and it helps with the stiffness in my back and hips. My only complaint is that it only works for 90 minutes at a time, so I find myself turning it back on several times at night, and although that's an inconvenience, the pad itself is so superior that it still deserves 5 stars.

Update April 2026: After 14 months, I started getting an E1 reading instead of the level. I looked it up online and read that it means there may be a problem with the wiring, so I stopped using it. It has a 2 year warranty and perhaps I should have called them about it, but I needed one right away, so I ordered another and got the next day (today). The new one has a shorter electrical cord. Why did they do that? It still reaches me on my sofa, but the cord doesn't lie flat on the floor. The levels of heat are no longer marked 1-6. There is a temperature reading that is at 100° when you turn it on and you can turn it up or down. It has the same weighted, soft cover and I hope it works for a long time. My 2025 review still holds true. Written in 2025: I use this almost every evening on my knees. In the winter and early spring when it is cold in my apartment (landlord gives the minimum heat that shuts off intermittently) it gives me a warmer feeling. I also use in the summer because it makes my knees feel good. I think the weight makes it a little more effective than a regular heating pad does.

Not only is the heating pad great, but the customer service is OUTSTANDING!!! I purchased this product almost a year ago and recently had a problem with it (after using it on a daily basis), so I contacted the company, inquiring whether or not it could be repaired. They advised me that it was still under warranty, and they would replace it. All I had to do was provide a picture of it and a receipt, which I did, and I had a brand new heating pad delivered to me, and a new warranty "for 2 years", IN LESS THAN A WEEK. Customer service like that is unheard of these days. If I could rate this company with ten stars, I would. Besides standing behind their products, this is one of the best heating pads I've ever owned. Easy to use, gets hotter than most others and I particularly love the belt so I can wrap it around my waist and it "stays" there, and the weighted part of it, so it never slides around and it feels like a "hug". I don't write a lot of reviews, but in this case, I can't say enough good things about it or the customer service. I also own their massage gun and have been very pleased with that and now I know, if I should have a problem, the company will stand behind it. Feels like the "good ole days", when companies stood behind their products and did the right thing by their customers. I know I will be one of their customers "for life". A good heating pad is a must have for me I use them all the time. Very soft material, more so than a typical heating pad, especially the side that’s designed to go on your skin, very soft feels great. I like the strap option, it helps keep the heating pad in place while you sleep. It’s pretty. The weight is not very heavy, I prefer more weight than this, it’s pretty light and not much heavier than the typical heating pad. At least compared to my last one which was very heavy and helped with the heat. Nonetheless, it’s still weighted and feels good. Upon first use, I didn’t think it got nearly hot enough and considered returning. After using it more, I’ve decided to keep it. It gets plenty hot. It’s definitely less hot than my last heating pad, but I have toasted skin syndrome so maybe that’s a good thing. The heat does build over time and you can add water to it if you want to increase the heat. The 90 minute timer being the maximum timer, is annoying. I’m not a fan of auto shut off but I do appreciate safety, but I feel 90 minutes is shorter than typical and it’s annoying to wake back up to turn it back on. Pros: Pretty, Soft, Safe Heat, weighted, strap Cons: 90 minute shut off, could be heavier, not the hottest I’m keeping it and I’d probably buy again as long as it lasts me around a year, we’ll see.

Love this heating pad! Love how it stays hot, the weight of it, and the elastic strap to wrap and stay anywhere on your body. Their customer service is amazing too!

This eating pad is a great size. I like the fact that it doesn’t get too hot. I can certainly recommend this to those two are struggling with back pain.

Worked great until. Almost a year to day I purchased the connector on the heating pad came apart. Expected better The 3 connecting pins broke so no longer is secure Update…….contacted b&B customer service. Phone quickly answered by customer service. Advise what I needed to send for claim. Took maybe 5 min. Emailed paperwork and received replacement in less than a week. Great service

This is the 2nd one I ordered as a gift for a friend..The 1st one the box was completely destroyed because box is MUCH TOO SMALL for product..The second one (gift) just as bad except one end is all taped up with packing tape. It looks like hell and makes me wonder if it was used.. Bob and Brad you NEED to spend the extra 10 cents (on cheap cardboard) and make box MINUMUM an inch longer and wider, as it doesnt fit and pad is literally BUSTING out of box.. this DECREASES the perceived value of your product..

Not much to say other than I love this thing. Weighted, heated, and auto shutoff. Many people complain about there being no "always on" mode (it's always timed), but for me safety is a priority. So I'm very glad it will shut off automatically every time.

Nice, soft, large heating pad with a little heaviness, making it perfect to apply to any part of the body to sooth aches and pains. Six different heat intensities and up to 90 minutes functioning. Losing a star as I would have liked it to be a little warmer. Nonetheless, very satisfied. Good purchase

Love this heating pad! The heat seems to penetrate deeply, excellent product!!! The strap helps keep it in place as well.

It arrived today in a tattered box with a half-removed old shipping label and the cord a tangled mess. It’s clearly used/returned. Including pictures for what it’s worth. It appears to be working and seems a nice quality product, good weight and warmth, so I’m on the fence as to whether I want to bother with my own return.

The weight helps to keep it close. The material is soft and comfortable. It works good.
