It works. I've only had it connected for about a week, but so far no issues. I first tried to pair the device without installing any custom drivers. It would pair but only as "device" with no functionality. I finally installed a custom driver, paired again and, boom, there it was. You will need to do an internet search for the driver, accept the invitation, and then install the edge driver for the Water Leak Sensor. I then paired the device by scanning for new devices, but I think you could also do the "add device by brand" process. The top of the device really is a button. Don't be shy about pushing down on it. After pairing, you will need to press the top button for one second to do a range test. That will perform the initial communication with SmartThings. After that, you should be good to go. If you see a message about "this device has not updated", do the range test again. Some people have reported issues with the device losing communication with SmartThings and dropping off the network. I have not had that issue yet.
