This may not seem like much of a difference, but my mother can FEEL the difference and her comfort is everything to me, especially since I am her caregiver now. Furthermore, the price quote provided was significantly inaccurate. The pricing between regular and maximum strength is fairly comparable at all my local grocery stores- even when using a delivery service. The bottom line is yes, the regular strength is a little cheaper and has a few more so it would be a better deal, but if you don’t handle pain very well, the max strength may still be the better choice… In regards to the question, max strength should be available on Amazon- although my answer is a tad belated. **Q: what are the ingredients?** A: Active ingredient is 95 mg Phenazopyridine Hydrochloride. This is the original AZO that turns your urine orange and relieves pain from urinary tract infections, bladder infections, and bladder and kidney stones. I didn't even know about this until my urologist prescribed it. Works better than cranberry juice ever did. If I take it quickly enough it gets rid of UTIs. Don't bother with the maximum strength--it's only 2.5 mg more so 97.5 mg instead of 95 mg and it costs twice as much. **Q: does this works for male?** A: I don't have any experience with male use of this product. However, as a female, I use this product because it works for me. I have a small bladder, (had a sonogram and everything), I also have a minor issue with my bladder being able to tell my brain when I have to urinate sometimes though this is not often.I typically have some AZO on hand for multiple uses.Caffeine is very bad for continual use for myself so if I feel more urgency when I have to urinate I will take one dose of azo to calm my bladder for a little while.When I go out for a night on the town and am enjoying adult beverages I will also take one dose before I go out, to ensure I am not waiting in line for a half-full tank.I also take this when I have a UTI or kidney infection to reduce burning, urgency and empty tank visits.There is absolutely no interactions with this product and any antibiotics, steroids, birth control, ect. This will discolor your urine to a burnt orange to bright yellow color. Does STAIN light colored clothing, toilet seats, linoleum floors.This package is ideal for the price, I do not recommend the AZO maximum package. There is very few doses and the difference is not noticeable, the medicine is the same.
