Review: My family had a 40-year-old Culligan water softener that was still working but it exhausted the resin. I have put new resin in before but recommended to my family replacing it since parts haven't been made for that on in a decade maybe more. I was a Culligan service repairman for many years so when I started looking, I wanted a Flech control body which is very dependable, and 1-1/2 cubic foot unit with a meter. When I found this one it was highly recommended in the reviews and priced very well. When I ordered it, it comes with an adapter for 1" plumbing. I needed 3/4" so I place an extra order to buy the correct adapter. The company reached out to me and told me if I cancelled the extra order, they would remove the 1" and put in a 3/4" at no extra charge. When it arrived, it was very well packaged, it had the correct adapter. Installing it was easy. It was missing a fitting, I could have missed placed it, it appeared to be a standard 1/2" threaded fitting. I called the company AND A PERSON ANSWERED THE PHONE, I was shocked but very happy. She said they could overnight it but yes it was a standard fitting, so I just went to the hardware store and bought it. Programming was very easy, I had 1 question and again a person answered the phone, quickly answered the question. It has been in about a month, and everything is great.
