I use it in HE machines most of the time, sometimes for hand washing, works either way. **Q: Is it scented or unscented?** A: It is scented, but the scent is very mild. I cannot smell it once the clothes are washed. **Q: The entire label is in German. can anyone translate how to measure dosages in English?** A: Ok... The photo with stains: leicht- light stains, normal is normal; stark is dirty/soiledWasserhsrte is "how hard is your water, basically.Weich/mittle is soft/middle; hart/sehr is hard/veryhard. You can do a conversion if ml to ounces etc via google. Or if you have a ml measuring cup. This is not a "regular" detergent but for wool and sensitive fabrics or like I use it to do a cold wash of pants, blankets that are wool and not wool. It is much better, removes stains and dirt better, and leaves clothes super soft, even without softener. I don’t use softener at all any more.
