I usually go through this size pack in ~ 1 year. To maximize their lifecycle and strength over time, I find it works best to minimize exposure to air and light. My trick for doing this is to NOT Open the box and instead just cut a small hole in the top and pull out each bag as needed. This means that exposure to light and air flow is minimized particularly for all bags except the top one in the cue.
