I bought a pair of soft insoles to cushion them but I don't know whether they definitely need that. They can get really muddy but clean easily and look good as new with the right polish. I bought all black so they can look quite smart when nice and cleaned up. I tried them on in person before buying them online, I have wide size 5 so I bought 5.5, no issues so far! Really happy with the purchase I love my Blundstones. Review: Comfort is king - I normally hate getting new boots as you always have the dreaded break in period. These are honestly the best, so comfy from the get go. First wear the tops rubbed very slightly on the back of my calves so doubled my socks over, no issues since the backs bent in a bit. Perfect to pull on and nip out in the winter weather. It's the second pair I purchase and I continue to love them. They are comfortable, durable and super nice to wear with a lot of different outfit.
