We had to scoop it multiple times a day, and litter would still end up around the area. We decided to try this self-cleaning litter box, and so far it’s been a good upgrade. The cleaning function works reliably, and I like that it pauses if the cat gets close — that makes it feel safe to use. Setup was straightforward, and you can also run a cleaning cycle manually if needed. Now we only need to change the waste bag every few days to about once a week, which is much more manageable. There also seems to be less odor compared to our old setup. Our cat got used to it pretty quickly. It’s not completely silent, but it hasn’t been an issue for us.
