I raised up one side of the car at a time to replace the rotors and pads. I used the scissor jack to lift the car then placed jack stands underneath it. Everything worked fine on the left side of the car. But when I went to lower the car using the scissor jack on the right side of the car, I heard a loud "PSSH" and a "pop" I thought I had popped a tire or something. But upon completely lowering the car I pulled out the scissor jack and saw that the that arms are no longer aligned. The teeth in the upper section of the jack skipped/jumped and now the jack is useless. I tried straightening the jack out, to get the teeth to line up again. But it was not able to re-align itself.Literally 1st time using this jack and the thing failed. I'm so happy I was not under the car and that I was able to still lower the car slowly. But I will not be using this jack ever again. ### ⭐ CAUTION: Weak jack *by Y***K on Reviewed in the United States on December 28, 2018* Only buy this jack for emergency backup. These stands have next to zero horizontal stability. But don't expect to use it much. Tolerances are too loose.
