Review: Problem Solved! - This part fit our 2013 Ford Fiesta perfectly and solved our problem with a heater/AC fan that did not blow at all at speeds 1 and 2, barely blew at 3 and worked so-so at 4. I read online that that is usually a symptom of a bad resistor, so took a chance and bought this product. I also saw multiple videos online showing where the part is and how to replace it. The replacement was pretty difficult only because, on my car, the location and access are very awkward -- it is under the dash pointing forward, so I had to unscrew this totally blind and by feel. But ultimately I was able to get the part in may car and the problem is completely fixed. Just like new - all four blower settings blow and 3 and 4 are much harder than before this fix. It's July and the car cooled down super fast. Access may be better in your vehicle, as this part fits multiple models. The part itself feels solid and durable and the configuration/shape/fit were identical to the replaced part. Very satisfied with this part and saved a lot of money with the do it yourself repair.
Review: Perfect replacement at a great price! - Perfect fit for 2012 Expedition and works great. I watched several youtube videos to get a general idea what to do. On our Expedition I had to remove 3 bolts under the glove box in order to remove the glove box. Videos were correct - a 7mm socket. Once I removed the bolts I opened the glovebox and had to cock it to one side in order to remove it. The resistor was easily seen, almost right in the front. Again the videos were correct and I needed an 8mm socket to remove the 2 bolts holding it in place. The hardest part was getting the bolt out of the far side. I am not a mechanical person so it took awhile to get it out in the space available but I finally did. Someone more proficient with tools would have gotten it out much faster. Having a flashlight helps. Once the bolts were removed the resistor came out easily. I pushed in the clip on the cable and the old resistor came right out. I inserted the new resistor and made sure it clicked in. It will only go in one way. I inserted it back in the slot where I removed it from, making sure it was all the way in and hand started the bolts. Putting them back in went much quicker. My husband (disabled) came out to see what I was doing. I replaced the glovebox and he held it in position while I reinserted the 3 bolts holding it in place. Oh I did test the resistor before I put the bolts back in and it worked like a charm. Definitely saved a lot of money doing it myself. Last time it went we had an extended warranty on our vehicle so it cost us a $100 deductible. If a 60 year old great grandmom can do it, anyone can!

### ⭐ Company won't stand by their warranty. Failed after 10 months
*by Z***M on August 27, 2026*

I have a 2013 F150 3.5. This resistor installed fine, and worked for about 10 months. It has now failed and does not regulation blower motor at all. Low quality built resistor. I have reached out to the company since they claim to have lifetime warrenty on the product, however I have not gotten a response back. Unhappy with the service. I wish they would hold true to their word.
