Review: I Like Convenience - So this item was a request by my husband, who kept insisting it would "change my life". I said ok, it's not hard to make a grilled cheese, but I bought it anyway because it wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be, and boy lemme tell ya.....we use this machine probably 3 times a week MINIMUM. While it can't handle the giant, gooey, cheese-melty amazingness that I call a tuna melt, it does make literally so many things so much easier to make. Normal grilled cheese sandwiches for tomato soup comes out super fast, quesadillas are super easy, and more. My husband thinks he's some sort of panini machine/sandwich maker guru and he's not wrong. There are so many options with this machine. Buy it.
Review: Poor design, disgusting results. - What a crappy design. Pockets are too shallow so they can’t handle too much cheese between the bread. Cheese leaks out of the sandwich maker and into the crevices. There’s no way to clean it unless you remove all the screws to open up the machine to remove all of the gunk that accumulates. See pictures. I can’t imagine the amount of bacteria and mold that would grow there had I not opened it up.

So this item was a request by my husband, who kept insisting it would "change my life". I said ok, it's not hard to make a grilled cheese, but I bought it anyway because it wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be, and boy lemme tell ya.....we use this machine probably 3 times a week MINIMUM.
