In 30 years of automotive repair I had not run into copper coated aluminum primary wire - And I did not notice the fine print for this item. I own a busy automotive repair shop and make electrical repairs daily. I noticed "come-backs" with failed connections about 8 months after the repair- the wire had corroded and either lost connection or become completely detached from the connectors. This happened with both soldier and crimp connections. I have found this to be the case in over 25 repairs at this point--An Automotive repair shop worst nightmare!!Stay away from these products! Use copper primary wire only! ### ⭐⭐ Copper Clad Aluminum Junk, also not AWG thickness. *by S***H on Reviewed in the United States on September 12, 2019* I had previously purchased a nice combo set of pure copper wire from Amazon, but when it was no longer available, I followed the amazon suggestion and purchased this combination pack. But its Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA), which I can bet just about nobody buying it off Amazon realizes what that means. Its also not 16ga AWG (they don't say what standard this '16ga' wire is). So its not even as thick as AWG either. So its REALLY not meant to run power of any sort. They specifically list trailer wiring as a use, and I would guess that its barely sufficient for that if you using incandescent light, and probably fine for LED, but anyone who uses it in place of where traditional 16ga AWB Copper wire is spec'd is in for a nasty surprise. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best wire deal for your buck!
