I am not sure if it is the mirror finish or the fact that they are extremely dark. It is difficult to explain, but as with all clip-on's, there is a slight separation between the lenses and my glasses. This allows light (from the side) to reflect from my face to the backside of the lenses and back to my eyes. This makes it difficult to see through the lenses. It is like looking into a glare or distortion. I wish they would hug my glasses closer, but I understand that is not possible. I will probably have my Optometrist send a pair of prescription sunglasses out to apply a mirror finish on them. I did this once for a pair of prescription motorcycle goggles. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great glasses *by M***D on June 14, 2015* I really like these.
