## Description

Schaeffers SynShield OTR Plus 10w30 Oil is a premium advanced performance, synthetic plus, heavy-duty diesel engine oil formulated to provide maximum protection against wear, oxidation, deposit formation, soot contamination and aeration. SynShield OTR Plus 10w30 provides excellent fuel economy while maintaining engine durability and longevity. Using our proprietary friction modifiers, Micron Moly and Penetro, SynShield OTR Plus 10w30 creates a slippery, tenacious shield that prevents metal-to-metal contact for increased engine efficiency. SynShield OTR Plus 10w30 is suitable for use in 2007 and 2010 emission complaint engines that utilize heavy exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) and exhaust after-treatment devices such as diesel particulate filters (DPFs) with or without diesel oxidation catalysts (DOCs) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR). Schaeffer’s 10W-30 meets and exceeds API CK-4 specifications.

Review: So far the best oil I've ran in my 2024 and 2006 PSDs. Survives the shear! - I've ran this oil originally in my 2006 6 liter PSD, and it survives the typical shear that this engine is famous for under normal drain intervals. My 2024 6.7 HO really likes it and gives me great mileage. This is the mostly synthetic flavor, I'm trying the full synthetic currently to see if there's any improvement over already awesome. I believe so far this oil also outperforms Liqui-Moly Special Tech AA 10w30 diesel oil as well in my 2024. Schaeffer makes some truly impressive lubricants!

I've ran this oil originally in my 2006 6 liter PSD, and it survives the typical shear that this engine is famous for under normal drain intervals. My 2024 6.7 HO really likes it and gives me great mileage. This is the mostly synthetic flavor, I'm trying the full synthetic currently to see if there's any improvement over already awesome. I believe so far this oil also outperforms Liqui-Moly Special Tech AA 10w30 diesel oil as well in my 2024. Schaeffer makes some truly impressive lubricants!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best oil I've found for a 6.0 Powerstroke

As a retired Ford Technician I am very pleasantly surprised by this oil. I have ran Motorcraft and Valvoline for decades. But this oil is amazing actually picked up 2mpg in my 6.0 powerstroke with this oil. Now that I am planning to open my own shop this will be my go to Diesel oil and will run in my personal truck.
