I ordered these previously and I had to send the first order back, desertcart didn't pack them well before sending out, it was a return item and not to take the time to wrap them without any protection is stupidity on their part, and the other set was also a return but it was packed by someone else obviously 🙃 and this set was also a return and it also was packed great 👍 kudos to who ever took over the job Thank You I prefer to save money on returns when possible. But honestly they're perfect for a lot of products, flour, sugar and etc. I would not use them for things I use everyday because they are fragile and I definitely wouldn't let kids near them, I do believe they are borosilicate glass so they can take some mishandling but if you drop one just like Pyrex they will break! I don't know what people are expecting from them, there glass NOT PLASTIC, so if you are going to complain about them being thin then order something else that can handle whatever your going to dish out, because these were never made for heavy handed handling! They organize so much better and your cabinets or pantry will look soooo much cleaner, I highly recommend them 👌 and they aren't really anymore expensive than plastic that holds the smell of the last product you used them for and they don't wash up as nice as these do, plastic gets tacky feeling after a couple years and glass won't which is another plus. Review: Great Purchase! - Perfect for storing our protein powders! These containers fit our 5 lb Naked Protein powders perfectly. A helpful tip for transferring: after washing and thoroughly drying the container, place the jar upside down over the protein container, then carefully flip and pour. As the powder settles, cradle the glass jar and gently pat the bottom, almost like burping a baby. This helps eliminate air pockets and creates extra space. We still had plenty of room left for the scoop and the lid to close comfortably. I wanted to try these first before purchasing additional sizes for our other supplements, and I'm already placing another order. The jars are heavy in the best way. They feel sturdy, high-quality, and well made. Of course, they're still glass and should be handled with care, but with mindful use and cleaning, I can see them lasting for years. The bamboo lids also have a nice weight to them and create an excellent seal. Very happy with this purchase! ## Features - 1.8 Qt per Jar, 2-Pack: Each round canister measures 5.9 inches in diameter x 5.9 inches high, and the set provides 3.6 qt of total capacity. Use for cookies, cereal, sugar, coffee beans, snacks, pasta and other dry goods; ingredient weight varies by density. - Clear High Borosilicate Glass: Transparent glass lets you identify contents and check refill timing at a glance. The rounded silhouette and natural bamboo lids create an attractive countertop or pantry display without hiding what is stored inside. - Wide Opening and Easy Cleaning: The broad opening gives you room to refill, scoop and clean to the bottom. The glass jar bodies are dishwasher safe; remove and hand-wash the bamboo lids, then let the lids, gaskets and jar rims dry completely before reassembly. - Versatile Dry-Food Storage: Use the matching jars for cookies and candy, cereal and oats, coffee and tea, pasta and grains, pet treats or baking ingredients. Their clear bodies make it easy to keep paired categories organized on pantry shelves or kitchen counters. - Bamboo Lids and Practical Accessories: Each press-on bamboo lid has a silicone gasket designed to support a snug everyday seal for dry goods. Keep rims and gaskets clean and dry and press lids down evenly. Includes one 120 ml measuring scoop, one 304 stainless steel serving clip and labels. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0D8T2TMKL | | Best Sellers Rank | #2,314 in Kitchen & Dining ( See Top 100 in Kitchen & Dining ) #20 in Food Jars & Canisters | | Brand | ComSaf | | Brand Name | ComSaf | | Capacity | 1.7 liters | | Closure Type | Snap | | Color | 1.8Qt-Round-2 Pack | | Container Shape | Round | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 3,099 Reviews | | Food Storage Container Airtightness | Airtight | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 5.9"L x 5.9"W x 5.9"H | | Item Form | Canister, Jar | | Item Volume | 1.7 liters | | Item Weight | 1.63 kg | | Lid Material | bamboo | | Manufacturer | ComSaf | | Material | Bamboo, Borosilicate Glass , Silicone | | Material Feature | Food Grade, Freezer Safe, Microwave Safe（Lid off）, Non-Toxic | | Material Features | Food Grade, Freezer Safe, Microwave Safe（Lid off）, Non-Toxic | | Material Type | Bamboo, Borosilicate Glass, Silicone | | Material Type Free | BPA Free, Lead Free | | Other Special Features of the Product | Air Tight, Durable, Odor Resistant, See Through, Stackable | | Package Quantity | 2 | | Product Care Instructions | Dishwasher safe for jars, hand dry lids | | Product Dimensions | 5.9"L x 5.9"W x 5.9"H | | Recommended Uses For Product | Bakery, Bread, Cookies, Flour, Sugar | | Size | 1.8Qt-Round-2 Pack | | Unit Count | 2 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** ComSaf - **Capacity:** 1.7 liters - **Color:** 1.8Qt-Round-2 Pack - **Material:** Bamboo, Borosilicate Glass, Silicone - **Material Feature:** Food Grade, Freezer Safe, Microwave Safe（Lid off）, Non-Toxic ## Images ![Glass Storage Jars with Bamboo Lids 1.8 Qt 2 Pack Large Round - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81lQfiYdAaL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What are the safety features of the glass for food storage?** A: Made of high-borosilicate glass that is BPA-free, temperature resistant from -4°F to 302°F, and microwave safe. I got the 122 oz and followed up with a purchase of the 1.2 gallon / 37 oz combo after I examined and approved of the 122 oz. I use them for five pound bags of protein. Vanilla, chocolate, and unflavored, along with some superfood green powder. This is thin borosilicate glass. It feels delicate. But borosilicate glass is quite sturdy. I have not dropped these jars or done anything to test their durability (other than the hot saniti-rinse cycle in the dishwasher). But, I have borosilicate glass drinking glasses that feel very delicate. But, I’ve dropped them on a linoleum type floor from counter height and knocked them over on a quarts countertop. They just bounce around with no breakage (usually—I’ve done it more than once and they’ve broken after hitting the countertop from a couple of feet). It’s what I love about borosilicate glass. Very thin and very strong. These jars are made out of a thicker version than my drinking glasses. But, they still quite thin and no doubt quite sturdy. The glass clarity is crystal clear. There is no lip on the jar. So, they are easy to polish up between fills. The bamboo lids are not precision cut. But you can’t tell unless you open the lid and examine it. They look beautiful on the counters. I’ve purchase 8 or 10 different glass jar types. These will be my go to jars when the need for a jar arises. They are crystal clear, easy to clean, delicate in appearance, and very probably very difficult to break unless you drop them on stone. But, most glass will break if you drop it on stone. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/683708818-glass-storage-jars-with-bamboo-lids-1-8-qt-2](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/683708818-glass-storage-jars-with-bamboo-lids-1-8-qt-2) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
