Some cans are 8 to 10 years old & the contents are as good as the day I bought them.Great Product. **Q: What is the proper primer for this product?** A: This is a coating for bare metal. I wouldn't use it over the top of a primer. **Q: Need to recoat an old fashioned televison tower, about 20 feet high. Would I need one can or two?** A: I would go with 2 cans if it were me. 20' high and whatever the diameter of the tower will eat up 1 can pretty quickly. The other factor is how heavy or how light you apply this.. Obviously heavier will use more product. **Q: how well does this coating stand up to high heat ? maybe 1200 degrees** A: I used it on tailpipes. They get hot. My can says 350 degrees F continuous and 750 degrees F intermittent dry heat.
