Review: Surprisingly great little kitchen tool - Pineapple corer worked much better than expected. I work for a restaurant chain that processes a lot of pineapples, so our store machines are much bigger and far more expensive than this tool. I wanted something small for my home kitchen. This works surprisingly well in several ways: 1. starting the tube on the end of the core is easy, but I was surprised how well the tube stayed with the core all the way through. 2. Twisting the cutter through the bottom worked well once I cut off the bottom. It cuts a thickness that is easy to handle and eat. 3. It didn't leave much good pineapple behind, and made it easy to discard the skin and not worry about trying to retrieve more pineapple off it first. This is just what I needed, very inexpensive, quick, works surprisingly well, and takes up very little space.

I just used mine and it worked very well. It cut right through it with no problem all the way to the bottom. It was very fast .The handle is very strong and sturdy. I'M definitely happy with it and it would make a great gift. I love pine apple so it will definitely get a lot of use. Great invention.
