I also have a puppy - who is constantly muddle, and soils the floor mats by our back door every few days - almost done potty training now - but we do at least 1, and often 2 or 3 loads a day. I bought this big bucket at the end of May last year and have more than 1/2 a bucket left. It has more than halved by laundry soap costs. Even better….once I stopped using laundry ‘pods’ and started using the powder, my front loading machine stopped smelling…mouldy. We usually use around 3 tablespoons otherwise the clothes do not get fully cleaned. Taking this into account, we're actually paying double what we would by buying any other commercial, non-dye/scent liquid detergent. So while they say that you get 1100 loads out of the large bucket, in our case at least, were really only getting around 360 loads, which is significantly more expensive, as mentioned, than your average, commercial dye/scent free detergent.
