I've tried various makes, including Hunter's, but these, the cheapest I've bought, have lasted better than all the others and been more comfortable. I have had to buy a replacement pair after over 2 years of daily wear - the Hunters didn't last a year. The downside to them is not much in the way of insulation on cold days (not been a problem with the current climate) and the tread being on the large side, leading to pebbles getting trapped along with mud. I think it is a boot mainly for the male foot ? so is generous in width from toes to calf. **Q: I'm a ladies size 7, and need to fit some thick insoles and several pairs of socks into the boots. Will size 7 be big enough or should I go up to 8?** A: I'm tempted to say try size 8. I've usually found ladies shoe sizes are usually smaller than men's for the same specified size, so size 7 in ladies would be size 6 in mens, but if you'll be wearing extra socks + insoles... Make sure you can exchange them if they're sloppy. I bought these in August 2020, and I'm about to order a new pair as a split has developed in the upper left side (near big toe) of the right-hand boot, and this is now letting in water from dewy grass. I feel this is pretty good wear for the many miles of daily dog-walking I have done in just shy of 3 years. They've been comfortable and a little large for my size 10.5 feet but I need that to allow for an arch support plus a insole liner for warmth and support. As mentioned by one or two other reviews the large tread under the heel often traps mud/gravel/pebbles, but I guess you have to live with that.
