I have exposed roots due to years of orthodontic work. Regular "sensitive" toothpastes weren't doing anything, or making the problem worse! Even prescription paste wasn't helping. When I tried this, it was a night and day difference. I can eat cookies, cheesecake, ice cream again! Even my cold sensitivity is better. It's not going to be a miracle cure in my case (root canal was recommended by my dentist), but until I can afford that, this has been my saving grace. It gives a nice, smooth, clean feeling and the mint is great without being too weak or too overpowering. It doesn't irritate/break out my skin like pastes with sls. They truly found the happy medium of flavor and the holy grail of toothpaste! The icing on the cake is that they have superior customer service within their company. My only complaint is that Target stopped carrying this version, so now I have to order online.
