Review: Still the best contact adhesive. - Evo-Stik. A throw back to my youth. The glue your dad would always have a tube of. 528, is the traditional Evo-Stik that will stick nearly everything. It's perfect for sticking the soles of your shoes back on. It will stick almost anything to anything. Just make sure the surfaces are clean (a wipe down with something like Isopropyl alcohol will work wonders). Apply the glue to both items to be attached, then leave it to dry. Any time of 15 minutes or longer is ideal. Then press the two sides together. They will bond instantly, so make sure you position them correctly first time. Depending on what you are bonding, it would usually be best to leave the item for 24 hours. You can also apply a clamp, if you want a really strong bond. Overall, this is a great, useful glue to have in your cupboard. At room temperature and with the lid sealed tight, it will last indefinitely. Highly recommended. I hope you found this review helpful.
