They mail thing with apples is raking up all the leaves when they fall. Throw them away or burn them, don't put them in your compost. Prune every year and dormant spray if you need to. Nitrogen will work for the greening of the leaves. This product is well balanced. I use it on my potted apples and citrus and it works well. **Q: I have two small fig and pomegranate trees that I planted last year and have been looking for an appropriate fertilizer. Is A&O the correct one to use** A: The product description states that it is for all fruit so it wouldn't be much of a stretch to include figs and pomegranates in that category.
