Review: A Good Brew. Aye. - Right, listen up, 'cause I'm not gonna say this twice. Yorkshire Tea. Proper brew, that.s what it is. None of that fancy, flowery rubbish you get down south. This is a tea that'll put hairs on your chest, even if you're a woman. First off, the colour. Strong, dark, like a proper Yorkshire moor after a good rain. None of that wishy-washy pale stuff. You can practically stand your spoon up in it. And the taste? Well, it's just...tea. Proper, honest tea. No faff, no frills, just a good, solid flavour that warms you right through to your boots. Gets you ready for a hard day's graft, or just a good sit down with a biscuit. Doesn't matter if you're having it with a splash of milk, or strong enough to peel paint, it's always spot on. You can't go wrong. So, if you're looking for a proper brew, one that'll sort you out, then get yourself some Yorkshire Tea. You won't regret it. Now, put kettle on, and have a good brew. Aye. Review: Quality - Love this tea and large quantity. Package does not reseal. ## Features - Yorkshire Tea, 480 each - TEA - Yorkshire Tea - 480 Count ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B004M31ZR8 | | Best Sellers Rank | #90,538 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ( See Top 100 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ) #683 in Tea Samplers | | Brand | Yorkshire Tea | | Brand Name | Yorkshire Tea | | Caffeine Content Description | Medium Caffeine | | Container Type | Bag | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 2,130 Reviews | | Diet Type | Kosher | | Flavor | Yorkshire Red | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00615357118355 | | Item Dimensions | 16.93 x 4.72 x 15.35 inches | | Item Form | Bag | | Item Volume | 1 cups | | Item Weight | 1.5 kg | | Manufacturer | Yorkshire Tea | | Model Number | 259210 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | 1127 | | Product Benefits | Great Taste, Refreshing, Ethically Sourced | | Recommended Uses For Product | breakfast, afternoon refreshment | | Specialty | No Artificial Flavors | | Sweetness Description | Not Sweet | | Tea Variety | Assam | | UPC | 615357118355 | | Unit Count | 480 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Yorkshire Tea - **Flavor:** Yorkshire Red - **Item Form:** Bag - **Tea Variety:** Assam - **Unit Count:** 480 Count ## Images ![Taylors of Harrogate Yorkshire Red 480 Teabags - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71p1AvzZiyL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Are these tea bags on a string with a red tag??** A: No they are packed in twos but you need to be aware that you get the package with 480 teabags brackets 1.5 kg as there is also a 600 Tea bag package which looks the same that contains the same 1.5 kg of tea and therefore of course the bags produce weaker tea. It is my understanding that the tea bags with a red tag contain a different type of tea which is not nearly as tasty **Q: Do you still seal your teabags with plastic or have you swapped as mentioned on your website (“aim to swap by end of 2019 in uk teabags”)** A: I ordered 480 teabags on 01 November 2019, and received them on 04 November. Those teabags we’re in the single, heat-sealed plastic bag. However, the bag is not resealable, so I immediately transfer all the teabags to thick double-seal freezer bags, to prevent the moisture and essential oils from drying out. **Q: The 600 bag size says "One Cup" but this one doesn't. Are these 2 cups per bag?** A: I think you can easily brew 2 six ounce cups of tea with one bag. **Q: Do these tea bags have a staple or without? I prefer without, so I can easily compost the entire bag instead of having to cut out the staple.** A: No staple if you get the bulk pack either 480 or 600 bags (both 1kg). The one cup bags (different blend & not so nice) do have a staple ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Good Brew. Package does not reseal. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An English staple *by D***K on July 14, 2025* This is the best and only tea you should buy. If you order it, don't be surprised if you start drinking tea several times per day. After a few cups, I unwittingly began speaking with a thick British accent and demanded I have scones with clotted cream whilst adding a splash of milk to my cup. Im starting to resemble Winston Churchill after a few months of drinking this extraordinary elixir. ## Frequently Bought Together - Taylors of Harrogate Yorkshire Red 480 Teabags - Taylors of Harrogate Yorkshire Red, 160 Teabags - Taylors of Harrogate Yorkshire Tea Decaf 160 tea bags --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/6776394-taylors-of-harrogate-yorkshire-red-480-teabags](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/6776394-taylors-of-harrogate-yorkshire-red-480-teabags) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
