Review: Good first impression (it is not battery powered, btw) - This record player is marketed very weird. Are you a bass head but eco-friendly but also budget conscious? They've got you covered! For me it sounds nice, looks good, and there are no problems so far! There are two needles included, but they're only rated for 50 hours each. The Bluetooth works and the speaker sounds decent. I'm hoping to get some dedicated speakers for it soon, but it works pretty well as is!
Review: Few things to know before purchasing - These have decent sound and the speed is close enough to be ok. There's a lot of treble almost to the point of being too much and maybe too much for some. The stock cartridge is not very good and the stylus has a plastic cantilever which can cause skipping on records with heavy bass. You can get a Phanstiel P188D cartridge that comes with a diamond stylus and metal cantilever. It is a made in Japan rebranded Chuo Denshi Z800. This will greatly improve the sound quality. There could be some feedback at higher volume playing 12 inch records because the tone arm is above the speaker. You can adjust the speed from the bottom of the motor but keep in mind as the belt stretches the speed will change. If you don't need Bluetooth output the new improved Crosley Cruiser Premiere might be a better option because it is stereo sound and has decent bass.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: can i use this with a bluetooth speaker?**
A: The confusion in the answers to this question are because two different models are lumped together. The VSC-500BTC has "Vinyl Streaming Technology" meaning you can output the music to a Bluetooth speaker. The VSC-550BTC does not have the vinyl streaming feature. Both models can input Bluetooth to the internal speakers.

**Q: Can you plug this into a large stereo receiver to use some better speakers?**
A: Lots of confused answers here...
The OP asked if they could plug this player into a "large stereo receiver" - to play the sound coming FROM the player on larger (better) speakers. As Samuel Kline mentions it is certainly possible. Connect a red/white audio cable from the "RCA Out" jacks (on the back of the player) to your stereo amplifier (then connect that amp to your bigger/better speakers). Have fun...

@kbrieash: the stereo reciever needs an RCA-IN (pretty much all stereo receivers have an RCA-in)
@Siniwerx: no, this unit DOES have an RCA-out (it's on the back)
@James Orenthal K. Emmett Robsi… : no - that's for headphones- it's not the way to get good sound for a stereo receiver. Use the RCA-out (on the back of the player)
@Ralph: you'll get great sound if you use the RCA-out jacks on the back
@kbrieash (again): the original question was about using the sound FROM the player - not sending sound TO the player.
...phew!

**Q: Does it come with replacement needles? If not, where can you buy them?**
A: The Victrola Bluetooth Suitcase Turntable comes with one replacement needle in addition to the needle installed on the tonearm. There is a simple way to get an additional replacement needle for free. You register your Victrola Bluetooth Suitcase Turntable on Victrola.com. As a thank you for doing so, Victrola mails you a free replacement needle.

**Q: does it come with 45 adapter? Thanks**
A: Yes a 45 adapter is included.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you have vinyl, YOU NEED THIS! Bluetooth OUT in STEREO!
*by #***N on 18 June 2023*

I have a 50th high school reunion coming up (small class) and wanted to show up with a turntable and a few records from the day. After looking at these modern record players in depth, I discovered that there are two "options" I would like to have- battery powered, and Bluetooth OUT capability. Most of these say "Bluetooth," but only allow you to Bluetooth IN from your phone or something to play on the record player's speaker. This one is in only one in this class that I could find that will Bluetooth OUT. Unfortunately, there isn't a battery option. There is the battery option with Bluetooh OUT in their "Go" model, for double the price. This model is super light and easy to transport. The sound coming out sounds remarkably good for a relatively inexpensive record player. But what was a SUPER surprise is that I can Bluetooth OUT to two Bose micros in "Party Mode" IN STEREO! And it sound GREAT! I can't wait to show up with this...sure to be a hit at the reunion! If it only had a rechargeable battery option it would be perfect. I like the light plastic case it comes in, but also wish it came in one of the faux leather case option like it's non-Bluetooth out cousin, the
