Should have known since it's "lotion" and not cream. What in the world would I want alcohol on eczema lotion for? Any doctor will tell you to only buy cream for eczema because lotion will irritate it. My poor baby was in so much pain from this garbage. A pool's chlorine and other chemicals are designed to kill bacteria, and they do that by breaking apart protein--which is mostly what our skin is made of. This really tends to make my skin extra dry, and especially the soles of my feet, which even begin to crack at the calluses. Very painful.Bottom line, I've tried many different kinds of skin moisturizers, other cortisone creams, even a prescription steroid cream. None of those worked for me very well other than to offer some temporary relief from dryness. Frequent ocean water swimming is the only thing that really had healed my skin completely, but where I live the ocean is about 55Β°F all year round--so I'm not in the ocean as often as would be if I lived in the tropics.The Cattem Labs Cosrtisone 10 Eczema cream is so far the ONLY product I've tried that actually relieves, moisturizes, and heals. After applying after every shower or bath---my feet are now almost like a baby's bottom and no more cracks.
