Review: Low odour paint stripper - I’ve bought this for a craft project and I can honestly say that it does strip powder coating from bottles. My first go isn’t great but that was my fault not the product. Delivery isn’t the fastest for this item, I hadn’t realised it was imported, again my fault for not reading. Just make sure you allow time. It did arrive within the time suggested. *I was testing this on an old bottle already scratched so it looks rough. I also didn’t leave the vynal on for 24 before applying so fingers crossed for next time. *if unlike me you are using it for it’s intended purpose it works, not much odour snd a nice thick consistency for application.

I’ve bought this for a craft project and I can honestly say that it does strip powder coating from bottles. My first go isn’t great but that was my fault not the product. Delivery isn’t the fastest for this item, I hadn’t realised it was imported, again my fault for not reading. Just make sure you allow time. It did arrive within the time suggested. *I was testing this on an old bottle already scratched so it looks rough. I also didn’t leave the vynal on for 24 before applying so fingers crossed for next time. *if unlike me you are using it for it’s intended purpose it works, not much odour snd a nice thick consistency for application.

I use citristrip for upcycling projects. It’s pretty good and doesn’t have a toxic smell at all. No need for a face mask. Don’t leave it overnight though as you can as it kind of dries up leaving the crap you’re trying to take off back on! Leave it an hour or two wrapped in clingfilm and you are golden!
