Who needs an extra layer of plastic just so you don't get poop on your hands lol? But they really are nice bags. They don't tear and they are thick enough so you really don't need the extra mitt feature to keep your hands clean. I guess if you are that skittish about getting poop on your hands...hehehehe. My favorite feature, and why they are getting 5 stars, is they are larger than most bags. I have two dogs and many times when I walk them I get a "two-fer" - you know what I mean. Yes, they hold double the poo.
