Mantiques: A Manly Guide to Cool Stuff

This was a bday gift for my dad and he really likes the book. If you have one of those dad's that already has absolutely everything he needs and is impossible to find anything unusual to buy because he may not be your typical tie or golfing dad (perhaps he's into classic cars or Harleys), this is the perfect gift since it's got a lot of guy collectible things that they always remember or maybe he even had some of those things at one point in life. Lots of nostalgia. Keep in mind that while there are some prices listed of what particular items sold for at auction, this is by no means NOT a price guide. It's an ideal coffee table book that your guests will probably enjoy picking up to take a look at what "Mantiques" are all about and maybe reminiscence about some of the things. It's a fantastic gift idea!

Great book. Mantiques continue to evolve, but this will get a novice educated.

My husband received this as a gift and enjoyed it as did I - we also bought one for a friend who is also a collector and he also enjoyed it very much. Lots of interesting information in a nicely done format.
