If you ever need to add a valve or replace a valve, the procedure is as simple as unthreading the swivel, sliding it back, and adding or replacing the valve. So I followed one reviewing individual's suggestion to apply teflon tape on all the threads (except the threads on the selenids...) and apply lubricant on all the o rings, and have had no issues with it leaking. In fact, it fitted perfectly, and works like a charm! My end cap included an o-ring. **Q: Is this compatible with rachio 2nd gen controllers?** A: I have no idea....I bought this for someone else. **Q: I bough a 3-volve manifolds.
