If you look closely at the photo, just above and below the dark part of the body are small, white "risers" (for lack of a better term) that are used to help attach the two covers. These risers are very, very thin and the caps fall off pretty easily...the friction fit is very loose because the caps don't have much to "bite" on. So it is VERY easy for the caps to fall off.Also, the material of the caps is very flimsy...on several occasions I have left the caps off for an extended period of time and they distorted to the point it was hard to get them back on.That being said, it works great with both USB/ micro-USB/ lightning connections and the app (at least for IOS) works as promised.I would actually pay a little more for a better built USB drive.UPDATEThis flash drive has officially reached crap status in my opinion.Now, the grey body of the drive comes off if you pull the device away from your computer, phone, etc. You would think everything but the caps would be glued....noooo.It’s really hard to find a drive that works with Apple devices as well as Android and pc’s that is built so the actual plugs are protected when not in use.
