It does not. The manual is written in German. I was tempted to send it back to Amazon then I remembered my phone has a translation app.Anyone who owns a tens machine knows the basics of how it works so I wont go into that.1) The belt has 4 black pad electrodes, to use these they have to be dampened with a wet cloth.2) The belt is elasticated and stretches to around 39 inches (99cm). Apparently it does stretch to between 75 and 125cm, so it could go a little more if pulled but be careful.3) The belt comes with 2 insert-able gel pads which can give you extra relief - either hot or cold. For cold relief you have to put the gel bags into a poly bag (sandwich bag for me) and chill in the fridge. For freezing, the max temp is -180c (but dont quote me on that one) Dont think I would freeze it for very long. Maybe keep checking it. Insert the gel pads into their slots and off you go.Overall, its pretty damn good.
