The screen remained blank until I opened up the application file and immediately it began updating the Ancel JP700 to the latest update. Once complete, I unplugged the unit and took it out to my car. I started up the car and plugged the code reader into the OBDII port and the code reader lit up. I entered the set up menu and selected Suzuki. Basically, I just used my common sense and flicked through the buttons. The unit does come with instructions but it is intuitive enough, so much so, I mastered it in a mere minute or so.
