What a relief! *by A***J on December 11, 2021* There are few things more stupid that humans have done than to put "memory foam" into slippers. It feels like footwear designers are conspiring to kill us all with this evil plot. Corifei's slippers fix that problem! The insole and outsole are firm underfoot but have adequate give. They do not pose the risk of falling off as you walk, or tripping you and causing you to fall down the stairs. I have been wearing these for a week, and I really like the fit. I am granting four stars because there is a wee bit of room for improvement. None of these suggestions are significant enough not to recommend them. 1) On one foot, for some bizarre reason, I am suffering a small abrasion/blister on the top of my foot at the edge of the vamp. There are no sharp edges or course threads. The slipper is not too tight or too loose, so I have no idea what could be causing this problem. 2) We are headed into 2022. It is time to give up sewn in labeling. And while we are at it, the red, white and blue ribbon on the top adds NOTHING. It does not even go with the color scheme of the slipper.
