    Antique feel on a budget

These cages were exactly the sunroom addition my wife was looking for. They added a bit of nastalgia to an aging coastal cottage.  The size and weight create a quality feel, but the only slight is the crusty fo-texture that catches a lot of dust and is challenging to clean.  If you are looking for a budget antique feel, these cages fit the bill.

These decorative items are attractive, but my dilemma is finding what to put inside.  I tried plants and that didn't seem to work well.  I am looking now for some small decorative birds to put inside.  I want a "garden room" and these cages make a nice accent.

They are really cool!  I just wish they were taller.  It would also be nice if the smaller one had a hinged top like the large one.  I had to snip the bottom out with wire cutters so I could put a candle in there.  They do look very nice up on a tall ledge that I have in my foyer.
