However, it has xylitol in it which my son is sensitive to. He was having anxiety at the start of the school year, and these did seem to help. However, within the same day of taking it, he started complaining that it felt like he had glass in his stomach--that's how sharp the pains were. I know anxiety can be accompanied by stomach pains, so I assumed that's what it was and continued the pills. The stomach pains continued and he missed school. Finally it dawned on me and we stopped the pills...and no more "glass in his belly" pains. Xylitol is known to cause stomach pains in people (and is HIGHLY toxic to dogs) so I'm not sure why, when anxiety can also cause pains, a different sweetener isn't used. Honestly, I would prefer sugar over the xylitol. If there is ever an update to the formula WITHOUT xylitol, I'll purchase again.
