Apply Dark Chalk Paint Wax to make the color more intense and evocative of Paris, or keep it clean as a neutral foil to other colors. - LOVED BY DIYers: Annie Sloan Chalk Paint is a unique decorative paint for furniture, cabinets, home décor and paint effects invented in 1990. It is the original and favorite furniture paint loved by thousands of professionals around the world. - GREAT COVERAGE: This water based high performance Annie Sloan Chalk Paint is 1 litre or 1.06 quarts. It covers approximately 140 square feet. - EASY TO USE: Make sure the surface is clean and dry. Remove loose coats of old paint or lacquer first. Prior to opening the can, ensure you shake it thoroughly. Then open and stir well. If the paint is too thick, add a little water and stir. Always paint a test patch before starting your project. Apply with an Annie Sloan brush. Paint one or two coats. Drying time is approximately 30 minutes, depending on conditions. - SEALING: Chalk Paint should be sealed with Chalk Paint Wax or Chalk Paint Lacquer to protect and finish. Apply wax using a lint-free cloth or Wax Brush. Work the wax into the Chalk Paint and wipe away the excess before leaving to dry. Lacquer can be applied with a brush or roller. - MULTIPLE SURFACES: Chalk Paint adheres to most surfaces such as wood, glass, metal, plastic and old painted surfaces etc. You rarely need to sand or prime before painting. You can start with the fun part right away! - GET CREATIVE: Chalk Paint can be used for many different paint effects. Apply a generous layer and sand back after waxing to achieve a vintage, distressed appearance. Add a little water and apply it thinly for a smooth, contemporary look. Watered down, Chalk Paint can be made into a wash for furniture and floors or used to dye fabric. - AFTERCARE: Wash brushes in water, even if the paint is dry. To maintain your finish, clean with a soft damp cloth and avoid harsh chemicals or alcohol. - ECO FRIENDLY: Annie Sloan Chalk Paint is child friendly, and has low VOC's. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0D3YQVC3B | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #7,666 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #9 in Household Furniture Paint | | Brand Name | Annie Sloan | | Color | Old Ochre | | Color Code | #C0B283 | | Container Type | Bottle | | Coverage | 140 square feet | | Customer Reviews | 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars (1,272) | | Dry Time In Hours | 0.5 | | Finish Type | Matte | | Full Cure Time | 24 hours | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05060621620433 | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Is Waterproof | False | | Item Form | Liquid | | Item Volume | 1 liters | | Item Weight | 1.64 kg | | Manufacturer | Annie Sloan | | Model Number | P012OOC.X101.01 | | Paint Type | Water-based | | Part Number | AS_CHALKLITRE | | Size | 33.8 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) | | Special Features | No sanding or priming.
