Highly recommend! **Q: Do the arches hurt at first wear?** A: They feel comfortable on my feet and I have high arches. I also had plantar fasciitis until I changed my footwear. There are not many sandals I can wear but I can wear this brand. **Q: I wear a medium size 8. i received an 8w. does this mean a wide when i should have received medium?** A: Yes 8w means wide. I would try them on in case they fit better. Sometimes you never know. 😊 **Q: Do they have a built in arch like vionics?** A: I am not familiar with vionics but YES they have excellent arch support. Wearing these every waking moment of every day for about a month cured my Plantar Fasciitis. After getting used to the arch support for a day or two they are extremely comfortable. I have now bought at least 3 pair and I have introduced my 38 year old son to them and he is on his second pair. I looked at reviews and opted for a size 7 which I usually am fine with. They are just too neat and I think my feet which are quite wide will eventually spill over the side. I'm really dissapointed as they do feel comfortable and I'm pretty sure a size 8 will be too big , a pity there's no half sizes.
