I highly recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Convenient, fast, reliable, and plenty accurate *by J***O on September 4, 2016* I've been using this thermometer for nearly two years and it's been great, as long as you follow the instructions. You must aim it between the eye brows just as the diagram on the unit and instructions describe, otherwise the reading will be all over the place. I get consistent readings within 0.1 degree at distances between 1/2 inch to 2 inches. My two teenage boys like it because it's so simple, very fast, and doesn't require cleanup afterwards. My daughter likes it because its so low fuss. I like how it reads with a yellow background for moderately high temps and red when you are seriously in feverish territory. I've cross-checked the reading with a high-end in the mouth thermometer and discovered that it's usually 0.1 degree off from it. For low-grade fevers, the difference can be as much as 0.3 degrees if the forehead is sweating and there's a breeze. But when there's a serious fever, it's spot on. I've noticed that my boys are much more likely to use this than the mouth thermometer and overall they're more likely to take their temperature when they're not feeling well.
