The chemicals in this is meant for bare metal adhesion for the raptor coating **Q: Would this product be needed before spraying Raptor bedliner on a plastic golf cart body or would I be better off just light sanding it?** A: Hi lite sanding is nessary but for best results be sure to add reptor adheavis and be sure to clean clean clean **Q: Can one use this for aluminum coated with electrogalvanized zinc (such as superstrut)? or does one need to purchase u-pol acid #8 and acid #4?** A: No this can be used after electroplating as long as the item is kept clean from grease, dirt or any other environmental damage. **Q: how much area will one can cover?** A: I used one can on 1/3- 1/2 of the truck bed... full coverage. It's messy, so follow the instructions and wear protective gear, but the spray looks nice. Time will tell on wear-ability, but initially, I'm very happy with the DIY results on my steel bumpers, rock rails, and roof rack. I like the idea of the two component hardener that Raptor incorporates into the can. I used the Raptor acid etch primer prior to the bedliner. I also did the undercarriage using the Raptor undercarriage product as well. I think I'm a Raptor fan until proven otherwise.
