Review: Dog Behaviourist's Bible - I have used all three volumes of this book several times on my animal behavioural science degree (borrwed from university library), if you are doing a degree in animal behaviour or a related subject i would highly recommend this book, i haven't found anything else that really compares or is at the same standard while being as easy to use. Its scientific enough for use on a degree but it is still easy to understand (for me - this book would be a too heavy for a casual dog owner looking to sort out a small behaviour problem as this has all the science behind it as well, and you probably will need a scientific background to understand some of it) So these books are not for everyone as it isnt a 'light read' but if you are looking for something scientific without it being a load of jargon that you can't understand then these are the books to get. They are expensive, but are an investment if you want to go into dog behaviour for a career, as i do. They are so good that i have bought all three volumes so i have copies at home to save me from taking them out the library all the time!
