Good pallete of eyeshadow, great colours.

I purchased this set as a Christmas present and the recipient loved it. A high quality set at a very good price.

So, I had lots of hope on this little summery palette. I mean, why not? It had great reviews online, it was fairly cheap, and it had great colours! From the pink berry shade "ICE POP" and the gorgeous copper color "SUGAR COATED" I was absolutely in love- The star of the show, for me, was the bright yellow shade aptly named "Lemonade craze" and much like the greatest love stories out there, that color pretty much lasted just as long as Romeo and Juliet's relationship did: a week.For a good week, I created summer's summer-riest look until after a week where I picked up my palette and my darling yellow shade promptly fell on the floor and shattered into a million pieces just like my heart! and to add insult to injury, said pieces also managed to stain my carpet for a good 3 days.**It's important to not at this point that I haven't dropped the palette at all and that the shade just cleanly fell off when I picked it up and opened it.**TL;DR: Great price, quality, and versatility but didn't last very long. A week in and a shade fell out and shattered all over my carpet.

I just couldn’t resist but buy this palette, I couldn’t find it anywhere else, not in drugstores either. So when this arrived, I was very pleased and happy with the colours and the pay off with the pigment.

The Lemonade Craze palette for me was disappointing even though I know it’s a cheap product so you’re not going to get the pigmentation of something like Urban Decay. I’m not normally one for colour but I liked the layout of the palette and there are a lot of more neutral shades mixed in with the brighter colours and a good mix of mattes and shimmers. The packaging is cheap and it’s quite thin so it doesn’t look like you get much product. On the back you do get 3 different look suggestions which is great if you are still trying to perfect applying eye shadow. The pigmentation is very poor though so if you blend blend blend, you won’t be left with much colour at all. To get a decent colour I end up having to apply layer after layer so my eye lids end up looking very powdery. The result is nothing like the pictures in the adverts. The colour choice too isn’t great – especially for someone who may be using this to practice with. On one side is Ice Pop – a lovely looking pink and on the other is Lemonade Craze – a very 60s looking mustard yellow both of which run the risk of looking like you’ve got an eye infection unless you do manage to recreate a cut crease (i.e definition between the two colours with no blending). For me, this one would be a miss. I will end up using the neutral shades and I was surprised by liking ‘Sugar Coated’ which is a coppery shimmer but again even the shimmers were disappointing with little colour pay off and not much shimmer left on the lid unless packing it on with several layers.

Bought for my daughter.Took a while to get here but great pigment with smooth application and reasonable packaging.A fantastic palette for the price and extremely affordable!
