I got them to sun-brew green tea bags from a major grocer, who doesn't offer their green tea in gallon-size brewing bags. So for two quarts, I used 12 tea bags, cutting off the strings, and place them in one of these bags, throw them into a repurposed 2 qt. glass pickle jar, and leave it outside all day. Keeping the individual tea bags in the cheesecloth bag gives a bit more filtering, and makes it so I don't have to retrieve all 10 bags, which makes it easier to make my weekly tea. This cheesecloth bag makes it easy to remove from the jar, then discard the bags all at once. Price is fine.
