Well, the time for compromise is over. Now you can have it all - great sound, great looks, small size, and an unbelievably low price. The Monoprice Premium 5.1-Channel Home Theater System surpasses all expectations for sound quality in a small package. The four satellite and the single center speakers each use a 3 polypropylene mid-range driver and a 3/4 aluminum dome tweeter. They can handle up 100 watts of power and have an impedance of 8 ohms. The satellite and center channel speakers handle frequencies from 110Hz to 20KHz 3dB, with the crossover between the mid-range and tweeter drivers set to 3.5KHz. The powered subwoofer features an 8 downward firing speaker driven by a 200 watt amplifier. It handles frequencies from 30Hz to 150Hz (-10dB) and uses a variable crossover from 40-150Hz. The satellites measure only about 6.9 x 4.3 x 4.3 (HWD) and weigh about 2.9 lbs. each, making them easy to mount almost anywhere. The center channel speaker measures about 4.3 x 10.2 x 4.3 (HWD) and weighs 3.0 lbs. Both the satellite and center speakers are equipped with a universal 1/4 threaded insert mounting options and have rear-firing ports, so they sound best when there is some breathing room behind them. The subwoofer is a 12.6 cube and weighs about 20 lbs. It features four large rubber feet, which keep the downward firing driver off the floor. It includes both line and speaker level stereo inputs, so it can be used with any amplifier. ## Features - While superb sound quality is the ultimate goal of any home audio system, the realities of budget and even aesthetics often force compromises in sound quality - Now you can have it all - great sound, great looks, small size, and an unbelievably low price - Well, the time for compromise is over ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00EOZFUYI | | Antenna Location | home theater | | Audio Driver Type | Dynamic Driver | | Audio Output Mode | Surround | | Box Contents | 4x Satellite Speakers, 1x Center channel speaker, 1x Subwoofer, 1x User's manual | | Brand Name | Monoprice | | Colour | Black | | Compatible Devices | Projector, Television | | Connectivity Protocol | RCA, 3.5mm aux | | Control Method | Touch | | Customer Package Type | Standard Packaging | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars (168) | | Enclosure Material | Aluminum, Polypropylene | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00757901804045 | | Is Electric | Yes | | Is Waterproof | False | | Item Weight | 41.63 Pounds | | MP3 player | No | | Manufacturer | Monoprice | | Maximum Speaker Output Power (in watts) | 200 Watts | | Model Name | 10565 | | Model Number | 110565 | | Mounting Type | Floor Standing | | Network Connectivity Technology | Auxiliary, RCA | | Number of Audio Channels | 5.1 | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Product Features | Amplifier | | Speaker Size | 8 Inches | | Speaker Type | Center Channel | | Specific Uses For Product | personal | | Tweeter Diameter | 0.75 Inches | | UPC | 757901804045 | | Warranty Type | Limited | | Wireless Technology Type | Bluetooth | ## Product Details - **Audio output mode:** Surround - **Brand:** Monoprice - **Connectivity technology:** Auxiliary, RCA - **Material:** Aluminum, Polypropylene - **Model name:** 10565 - **Mounting type:** Floor Standing - **Recommended uses for product:** home theater - **Speaker maximum output power:** 200 Watts - **Speaker type:** Center Channel - **Special feature:** Amplifier ## Images ![Monoprice 10565 Premium 5.1 Channel Home Theater System with Subwoofer - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51qkXL0mVnL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Configuration, Size, Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What are the dimensions of the individual speakers? I'm espescially curious on the size of the center channel.** A: The center channel is 4x9.5x4 Height, width, Depth respectively. The Subwoofer:12x10x12, The Satellites are :6x4x4 **Q: Could anyone recommend a set of towers to make this a 7.1 system?** A: I would definitely agree. Monoprice sells a set of two of the speakers separately for use on their own as a 2 channel system or as an add on to this 5.1 system to make it 7.1. They even sell the subwoofer separately as well if you ever want to upgrade to a true 7.2 system. Then everything will be perfectly matched. Make sure to get the correct set of two Premium Monoprice speakers. Monoprice also sells a lower quality standard 5.1 surround sound system and a set of two extras of that type as well. If you have the correct set, they will exactly match the speakers in the Monoprice Premium 5.1 surround sound speaker set. I know this because I actually had what I thought was the correct one in my shopping cart only to find out it was the wrong set just before pulling the trigger. So it's an easy mistake to make even when you've done a bunch of research. I hope you enjoy your system. They are absolutely amazing speakers. My family is constantly amazed at how much information and nuance is embedded in soundtracks of our favorite movies and shows that we never heard with our previous home theater system. It's like a completely different experience now. Good luck. **Q: Could I use this with a receiver and what would I need to do to get it to work correctly?** A: It will work with any 80-100w/ channel receiver. Connect using banana plugs and 14 gauge speaker wire. Make sure to get the woofer spreaker cable with a Y splitter. Monoprice website sells all the cables you need at a great price. Better than amazon **Q: What speaker stands work with the Monoprice 10565?** A: Any stand will work. I purchased wall mounts for my surround speakers. ## Frequently Bought Together - Monoprice Premium 5.1 Channel Home Theater System with Subwoofer - 100 Watt Speakers, 200 Watt Subwoofer, Black - Amazon Basics 16-Gauge Speaker Wire Cable, 100 feet, Bronze --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/66329064-monoprice-10565-premium-5-1-channel-home-theater-system-subwoofer](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/66329064-monoprice-10565-premium-5-1-channel-home-theater-system-subwoofer) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
