Good sound, build, usability. *by J***E on April 21, 2018* Lifelong heavy duty portable music listener, going back to a Walkman 30+ years ago. These are my first pair of wireless phones. So far I really like them. At the top of the list is that they’re wireless. Man that’s so nice, no more having my soundz ripped away from my head because the cord looped around something while I’m in transit. These were pretty easy to pair the first time and automatic thereafter. Sound is pretty solid. I’m no audiofile. As long as it’s not too muddy or tinny I’m fine. These meet my requirements. I had forgotten how much more space music has with over the ear phones provide. So that’s a nice upgrade from the earbuds I’ve been using for the last decade or so. I was a bit surprised how heavy these are. Obviously they’ll be heavier than earbuds, but these are even heavier than OTE phones I’ve had in years/decades past, which have usually been plastic and really light. The difference here is the main metal piece that runs from ear to ear connecting the two cups over your head. That piece is pure metal all the way round and clearly no space age lightweight alloy. It’s a good sized piece of metal that has some weight. However now that I’ve used these for a few days the weight is less distracting. Overall quality feel. One hitch is that the ‘down’ volume control, which is on the right ear unit, is quite sticky and harder to use than the ‘up’ control. Also the on/off/pairing switch lacks the satisfying, substantial feel some of the other pieces. Got these at a discount price as there was a lightning deal and a coupon.
